Open Question: My Ym acct was hacked & I cannot open it anymore?

Last january 2012, I received an email from the Yahoo Service for a Final Warning that my acct will be permanently closed if I will not answer some details that they are asking such as User Name, Password, Birthday & Country of Origin. I answered all these questions including the Password. After my compliance, all the names in my contact list received an email from me informing them that I was in Spain and was asking for financial help. I was informed then that this is a SPAM letter.
